    Hi guys,

I'm just wondering if it's possible to transfer to stamp 1A from stamp2 as I got a job and will start work next Mon. My existing visa,stamp2, expires at the end of Feb. Can I do that before the visa expires or do I have to wait until the visa expires and then apply for a stamp1A?

    Any comments would be great!!!!!

It depends on how much time you spent on stamp 2.

End of page 4 deals with your question I believe.

    Thanks for your reply.

I've spent 5yrs and a half on Stamp2. According to the new regulation I am able to stay until 7years. I completed almost all of ACCA exams as I am awaiting the results of the final 2 papers which I did last Dec. I think it means that I can apply for a stamp 1A.
But what I want to know clearly is if I can transfer to stamp1A Before stamp2 expires.

You need to be able to complete your training in the time provided. If can do so and have training contract set up, then apply for 1a. If not then you will need legal advice.
