Dunno about putting this in the BA forum but I definitely think people on here may be interested:

I know it's not the professional range, but for that price, it's surely a bargain.

    Damage? How so?
No, it ain't pro quality but then again this is the place for diyers and occasional mechanics.
What would recommend for a home user for not very much money?

Its just a metal box, perfect for the diy'er IMO.

An apprentice had one of these for two years in a garage I once worked in. Never any problems with so its definitely ok for a DIYer.

The Halfords stuff is decent enough, especially the professional range. I have a professional top, middle and bottom box for about 5 years now without a single issue.

People normally say "you get what you pay for"

paying for what you get just means you're not robbing it ;)
