Right. Car got written off and know have around €1,000 to pay for a new car + 6 months tax. Ideally a Rover 25 as I like them and ideally 00 or newer.

Max Engine 1.4 or a 1.6 if under €900.
Must be hatchback due to driveway. Ford focus hatch was OK so slightly longer is a possibility.

Not a fan of Puntos or Micras.

Any suggestions or anyone know a Rover 25 for sale around Dublin.

The seller's number pops up on google a fair bit, might not be a bad thing if he's a decent skin. Passenger mirror is an odd match though, would annoy me.

Would you know roughly how much longer http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/2853159 would be to a 25. Tried online but got confused with all the models of 45.

a 5 door 45 is 4362mm long and a 5 door 25 is 3990mm

So 372mm or a foot and a quarter ish or 15 inches.

Whiney gearbox would be my main concern when viewing one.
