    - Thanks to Mandy for the following WWE SmackDown spoilers from tonight's tapings in Little Rock, Arkansas:

    Dark Match:

    * Skip Sheffield as Ryback defeated Jimmy Uso

    SmackDown, Airing Friday:

    * Cody Rhodes retains the Intercontinental Title against Booker T in the opener. They had a lengthy match. Cody hit the Beautiful Disaster after blocking the axe kick for the win.

    * Backstage segment with Cody and Dustin Rhodes. Cody says he is better than Goldust ever was and will be better than Dusty one day.

    * Zack Ryder is backstage talking with Teddy Long and says he's too busy to work for Teddy. Drew McIntyre came in as did Santino Marella. Teddy makes Drew vs. Santino. Santino will be Teddy's new assistant if he wins and Drew will be fired. If Drew wins, Teddy might not fire him. Aksana appears at the end.

    * Backstage segment with AJ Lee and Alicia Fox. Daniel Bryan comes in and they talk about his match against Big Show.

    * Hornswoggle won an Over The Top Challenge against Heath Slater. Slater attacked Hornswoggle afterwards until Justin Gabriel made the save.

    * Hunico beat Ted DiBiase.

    * Wade Barrett comes out and talks about he will win the Royal Rumble while Randy Orton watches from home. Sheamus interrupts. Jinder Mahal is out next and he joins Barrett in beating Sheamus down. Sheamus fought back but got hit with Barrett's finisher and a Camel Clutch by Mahal.

    * Sheamus vs. Jinder is announced for next week.

    * Santino Marella became the new Assistant to the General Manager by defeating Drew McIntyre. Teddy may end up firing Drew now.

    * Primo and Epico beat Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston in a non-title match.

    * Tamina squashed Natalya.

    * Daniel Bryan defeated Big Show by DQ with the World Heavyweight Title on the line when Mark Henry interfered.

Damn, really wanted D-Bryan to have a clean win.

Certainly looks like Bryan is on the heel turn - he left the ring to argue with Henry til Henry pushed him - so Bryan forced the win by DQ. A sneaky heel way to win the title. Will be interesting to see how it plays out long term or will he simply be burried and forgotten about when he loses the title.

Where in the jaysus are Drew McIntyre and Ted Dibaise's characters going at all....

    As for Horny's win

I hope not, he's being booked very much like Miz at the moment this time last year. Can't get a clean win in a title match after cashing in.

That being said, I'd like to see how a D-Bry heel run goes. it's worth testing the waters now than later.

I read on a site that they showed Cole beating Bryan for the title in WWE 12. Whats that meant to achieve?

Sheamus/Wade feud would be good heading into the RR

Bryan is an amazing heel so I'd love to see this.

Chances are though his title reign will be short and sweet and he'll go back to US/IC Title level. Which tbh is fine too. The push he has gotten so far exceeds anything I ever dreamt they'd give him.

She is being used to build up the all Diva title challengers to Phoenix who then beats them and the rotation continues.

Heath Slater must be looking over his shoulder after that. He'd be bricking it if it was closer to Wrestlemania when the usual releases happen.

Whats the deal with Natayla? Is she not with Beth anymore, or is Tamina the new flavour of the month?

Michael cole is always the one talking about how he plays wwe 12. Hes obviously just being funny and continuing his arrogant persona and crusade against bryan. Very few of the two major title matches have clean endings unfortunately.

Yep I'd like to see that myself, I can see it happening now with Orton been injured and Sheamus having had no real feud since Christian has been out.

I wouldn't be too excited about a D-Bryan heel turn. They have buried the guy since he came in as a geeky vegan who doesn't have a TV and has no personality. Just because he turns heel won't make the fans suddenly take him seriously as some bad ass technical wrestler who should be feared. It's more likely that they will make him out to be a bore like they did with Lance Storm.

I fully admit this is fantasty booking but I did it in WWE '12 and it worked :pac:

It doesnt take much to make someone a serious threat these days. Look how well they started Nexus for a perfect example. If you want Bryan to go heel, start having him knock people out with his kicks before making them tap out anyway. After the bell, keep the hold on and "injure" a few nobodies before doing it to someone important. Let him use his old mannerisms like "I have 'till five" and he'll instantly get over as a heel who knows he's the best and isnt afraid to prove it. The majority of WWE heels are generic loudmouth, cowards. Have Bryan back down from no-one and beat the living crap out of them if they do challenge him. Have him back it up in the ring, unlike nearly everyone else who runs away when challenged.

Just like Taker has the Hell in a Cell, Edge has the TLC match, we have indeed found a new dominator of the Over the top rope matches!

Horny is destined to win the RR so!

Did she ever feud with Beth? Always thought they'd have a decent feud if it were ever done

Really enjoyed that episode of Smackdown.

D Bryan is going heel and I can't wait. Loved how cocky show was pre match before Dewey turned up and called him a genetic freak.

mark Henry did a great job on commentary and it great when he ended up giving Bryan credit for kicking out after the spear.

Show did a fantastic job of making Bryan look dangerous at differnat times during the match. I can totally see Bryan making him tap some day.

Enjoyed a lot of other things during the show. I hope Drews storyline leads somewhere for him as I am a big fan. Cody was well put over by Booker and credit to Booker for doing it.

Yea Bryan was even getting booed during the introduction . Plus when he turns heel he should'nt change a thing they way he is acting is a perfect heel

Something struck me during Smackdown, Moves that in the past resulted in two counts are now more likely to result in a three, cody's disaster kick for example. Plenty of other examples in recent times, Punk pinning swagger after a kick, ziggler pinning punk after his fame asser move, pretty sure Wade won a match with the winds of change and so on. I like it as it makes things less predictable.

Then you get to Wrestlemania and everyone kicks out of everything :pac:

If I was allowed just one change in WWE, it would be Jim Ross to permanently replace Michael Cole. No matter what happens in these shows, it will never have the same impact without Ross commentating

Two good promos tonight. Wade Barrett's was good and really enjoyed Daniel Bryan's promo with the Big Show. Loved Mark Henry on commentary telling Cole to shutup. :D

Bryan going heel is a good thing and is Henry turning face?

I hope not. Henry would be wasted as a face imo.
