Off to St Anton with my wife and hoping to get private lessons for both of us, we are considering georg at http://www.learn2ski.eu/en/

The price is €250 for 5 hrs for both of us.

Any boardsies have any experience of this instructor or any general tips for st anton.

We are both piste skiers i would like to try some offpiste (thanks Fattes for the tip) and my wife wants to improve her piste skiing.

We do intend to spend at least a day in Lech-Zurs

    Thanks

I did a day with Piste to powder, British run school there. They were good and very professional, the day was also brilliant. But it was €100 a head and there was like 9 in the group with just one guide so I thought it was a bit rich of them. Your price for private lessons seems quite reasonable.

Either way enjoy it, the off piste there is fantastic and if you're going any time soon the conditions are amazing at the moment, though there's talk of lifts being closed from time to time because there's too much snow.

Only tips otherwise are to make sure you experience the Moosewird at least once. My introduction was Paddy's day last year and I was pretty impressed!

Did 3 days lessons out there last year but I didn't enjoy them.

They were all day lessons and I found it got a bit boring as the group I was in weren't good enough. Obviously I want to improve, but I also want to practice what I'm learning, so I think I'll do an all day private lesson and get better value.

Im in St Anton next week and if I come across anyone good I'll put it up here.

we would not usually be big into the apre ski but from what we have read of St Anton there will have to be exceptions made :D

Defo try the Powder Club on a Sat if you are good enough they will bring you over the back of the Veluga. But youi would have to be really good fist 400 meters is a no fall zone!

Enjoy it is a super place
