Anyone heard of this yet? Its another derivative of Ubuntu, but this time from China.

I really like the look of it. I love transparency, might have to try it out. The one thing about it that everyone is banging on about is it's software centre which really is a lot nicer than ubuntu's one. Which I believe may become available for regular Ubuntu users to install instead.

It has been converted to English but there still is a lot of Chinese on it. It doesn't seem to get in the way though.

Anyway thought people here might be interested. :)

I was going to post a sarcastic "Wahey another flavour of Ubuntu", but to be honest, thats one of the great things about Ubuntu, Debian and Linux in general. Anyone can take a distro, and make it their own. If no-one had done that then we would have one distribution galled GNU/Linux, I'd probably be stuck using GNOME because there is no alternative, and I definitely would not be working where I am now.

So well done to the creators of Deepin Linux. Variety is the spice of life.
