Any melodyne users out there upgrade to V2? Is it worth the E99?

I'm only an essential user, but I'd did the upgrade.
It looks well worth the money for the full version users, but it is now even buggier in Reaper.
In fact it doesn't work at all in Reaper, any version.
Works fine in ProTools LE 8.05 though.
The additional timing functionality seems to take it into vocalign territory, but the essential version hasn't really been enhanced so I haven't really got to use it yet.

I'm pretty sure Vocalign works in a very different way. You can get the same results with melodyne but with a lot more effort.

I was just wondering if being able to change attack transients was a useful feature. One of the main selling points of V2 is scales & tuning. I don't see myself having to tune arabic or indian music any time soon, so i figured that feature would be wasted on me.

I know it's completely different product, and serves a different purpose, but the timing correction enhancements seem to have made it much easier achieve those results within Melodyne, for example time correcting harmonies so they sit together properly.

The scales and different tempers bit didn't really interest me either.
