    Hi all,
New to this thing! Great to be able to pick the brains of the masses :)
I'm hoping to have my Hen Night mid to late June this year and was looking for suggestions on locations. Now we're not in to tacky wild boozy nights out, with flashing lights and blow up willes!
I'm looking for a nice Town with pubs with live music and preferably a late bar (not too in to niteclubs either!) Westport would be my ideal location but just had a friends hen there recently so somewhere different required. Also nowhere too far from Dublin (3hrs on train max) and preferably on a train line
Gosh reading back on this I sound very picky :D
    Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Maynooth?
It is near Dublin, great night life and nice restaurants.

    Galway would be lovely too.

Galway might suit. 2 hours by train, front door & the dail are two late bars. Round the corner live music in the quays or monroes. KC Blakes & McSwiggans are two really good restaurants I've been lately. The G is lovely for a drink.

Belfast is always a great bet, on the trainline too!

There are some great restaurants and bars around it, and I recently stayed in the Premier Inn in the Cathedral Quarter which was cheap, in a great location and v comfy beds!!!:D

Im thinking of having mine there in November myself....
