Condom issues

Basically I've noticed that I seem to have trouble with condoms. The last two girls I was with, the condoms seemed to instantly kill my erection. I've tried a couple of different brands with no success. The last girl I was with went onto the pill after we started seeing each other which solved the problem.

But we've since finished and obviously if I try for a ONS or casual sex with someone else, I will need to use a rubber. And this issue is stopping me from pursuing things.

I don't believe this to be a physical problem as I've no trouble getting erections at other times and keeping them.

Any advice for how to get past this?

A little off topic but unless both people have had a clear result for a STI test condoms should always be used.

Have you tried non latex condoms OP?

I've no experience with this issue, but if you have trouble with both latex and non latex condoms, maybe speak to your GP as there could be an underlying problem you don't know of.

    Good luck.

OP, I had the same thing happen me...a lot. I got past it by basically buying a rather large box and whenever I was going for some "alone time" I'd use one just to get used to the feel and the gap between putting it on.

It got me past it, so you might wanna try the same.

Im the same, find them useless. Most dont fit and tend to rip or pop off at the wrong moment. Im constantly having to keep an eye on it when using one, which takes away a lot of the the fun. Never used a non latex one though, might try that next time (which looks like being a while away).

I tried this last night and it worked fine. I guess a lot of the issue is in my head. I will keep trying this though to get used to it.

Ripped condoms can be a result of wearing one that's too small. Try a larger sized one.

I generally use Durex ultras, but from time to time I use another type of Durex, i bought one of their new types 'Feel Close' without looking at the size of them, And bought the smaller size by accident...I almost now know how a Boxer dog feels when someone puts an elastic band around their tail...

Get a few different brands too to get a feel for which works best for you. I know myself I can use pleasuremax OK, but for the life of me Durex standard and any mojo just don't work for me.

So basically find something that works for you well and keep at it so that you don't even have to think about how you are putting the condom on when you get down to business.
