How far back does the FB newsfeed go?

    I need to get back to something that was on my facebook newsfeed in mid December. However I only seen to be able to go back about 5/6 days in my newsfeed. Is it possible to go back any further?

    If you keep scrolling down it will continue to load older posts in the news feed.

    If you can remember what the post was about you can just go to the person and page and see if it's there.

    Nope cant remember who made the post but I really need to find it!

    I have kept scrolling down (clicking "older posts") but after doing this a few times you no longer get this option. There is just a message at the end saying "Want to see more stories?
    Connect with friends to get their photos and updates in your news feed."

    If you switch to the new Timeline you can see everything posted from when you actually joined FB.
