Hi, looking for some help with changing the radio on a 00 Hyundai Accent.
I removed the old one and have a Panasonic replacement (Model No. CQ-C1120GN)

When I went to connect it I realised the connection from the old standard radio didn't fit and the cable that came with the radio (this),that the larger black one had nowhere to connect to.
Now is there a way of getting this to fit? With a different connector or something else?

    Thanks for any help.

you need a hyundai to ISO adaptor, or get busy with the snips.

I'm assuming its the Hyundai radio and not a Pioneer like the later models?

For the adaptor I assume I'm looking for one that will connect to the existing connection and the other end connects to the large "double" black connector?

And yeah it's not a Pioneer, been stuck with the cassette player for too long now.

Thanks for the help I'll pick up an adaptor, quick search shows that they're fairly cheap.

from memory, it's a bit of a squeeqe getting a standard size stereo into the smaller Hyundai hole. Had to cut the corners out to get one into my brothers old Accent.

Yeah, it's basically a loom with a Hyundai loom at one end and an ISO block at the other.

Thanks, I'd have no problems with cutting the corners out to fit it, so long as I eventually fit it in.
