    :D

Thought might lighten the humour a bit . Excuse the turn of phrase but does anyone who is a gay male have these friends? Most of my friends are, they go the gay bars the odd time if we go out . Anyone else have the same? They think the George is great for picking up birds some of them do!

I thought a fag stag would be a stag party thrown by the mates of a gay guy getting a civil partnership!:D

I was every now and then back in the good aul days of straight. Probably had a better batting average with girls there than anywhere else! Ah memories...

@ Paul, well seeing how they operate with the women folk is hilarious. Was out before xmas with work and one lad who is married was chatting up a couple of nice blondes, they werent interested but got into conversation with me ! He rates himself as a looker, I was in fits and he was disgusted! Got to love them!

When I was working for the company who used to do the door on the George, the bouncers were queing up to work there. Firstly there is very rarely any serious trouble but mostly because at the end of the night all the straight girls would be looking for a bit of attention and well the ratios were defenitely in their favour.

I'm not sure one gay mate and a few trips to the George a 'fag stag' makes ;) Really, a fag hag/stag is a hetero girl/guy whose social circle is almost exclusively gay. I.e. the one who's at the George 3 times a week.

I remember my brother telling my Dad how he used to go out in The George when he lived in Dublin- one of his best mates sisters is gay too, and they used to all go in for moral support. They stopped bothering telling guys they were straight or whatever so they used to just pair up and hold hands when they were walking around. Hah, Dad was so shocked when my brother told him that. Then I came out like a year later. Bwahahaha.

My best friend loves going to gay bars, far more than I do. Everytime we are in a city such as Galway or Dublin he demands that I bring him to the gay bar. He thoroughly enjoys the music, the laid back approach of the staff, and the fact that his success with the girls is averaging out at 2 girls per visit to a gay club, he definitely would be a fag stag. he knows all my gay mates, and has no bother heading out with just us, and he in fact gets hurt if we head out without him!

I've been in a gay bar only once, with some LGB friends, for New Years.

Twas amazing fun, great vibe, and some of the women looked amazing. Though I felt slightly offended that I wasn't hit on :p.
I wouldn't go there every week but it was very good fun.

    I'm not metrosexual at all.

My friends informed me that there was no possibility of confusion.:p
Apparently I give off straight vibes by the truckload.
