In the market for an android phone and looking for some advice. I only have a relatively small budget around 200euro but looking to get the best possible phone I can for that amount. Second hand from ebay is an option and I'm fairly capable with phones so should be able to update them with the latest software etc. so that's no problem.

Personally i use htc, i like the phone the htc sensation but its out of price range i reckon, but there are smaller htc phones that run android. Samsung are great too. Id pick from either brands and avoid nokia... Thats my opinion

i have seen some htc sensations on done deal for 250 new, people apparently selling their upgrade, just be careful they are not stolen and rooted phones

I was in the same dilema as you. about €200 and not sure whether to go new or second han. I went for a new ZTE Skate from Ebay. Love it at the moment!

Was thinking of a Galaxy S (1) - around €200 2nd hand, a Samsung Ace, or just a ZTE Blade. The Skate is flying it at the moment and has a 4.3 inch screen so it's pretty good.

This is the one i went for

    o2online.ie/o2/shop/phones/sony-ericsson-xperia-ray-black/155/

a bit over your budget, but i find it performs really well overall. It's 3.3" screen, so if you're looking for something bigger don't go for it, but that's part of it's appeal to me, it feels lovely to hold in the hand, and you barely notice it i do phóca

o2 on payg(above) seems to be the cheapest at 269, the other carriers vary from 10-30 more
