Nikon D3000 - Problem with flash

    Hi All

    I have a D3000 but the spring mechanism or release lock for the flash has stopped working. I can manually force it up (without any mechanical damage) but would like to get this fixed.

    Is it something I could do myself?

    If not, I am near Naas, and would anyone know where I might go to get it serviced by a reputable person?

    Hi,

    Im not sure if it is something you could do yourself as as you may need replacement parts in the case that it is the release latch broken or even a spring but it could also be caused by the gear controlling the latch.

    I am based in North Wicklow but I would be happy to have a look at it if you want? PM me if you are interested.
