Seen this, looks very cool. Would be really good for small presents and the like, or decorating your room with :P

Turn Your Minecraft Creations Into Actual Sculptures

There's a new program available called Mineways, which uses open-source (read: free) software to let people turn their Minecraft creations into real-world objects.

We've seen services like this provided before, mostly for avatar recreation, but this looks way cooler, both because the software is free and because it lets you build anything from the game.

That means it's not just restricted to "objects". Because everything in the game is made of the same stuff, you can make 3D objects out of chunks of the landscape itself.

All you need is access to a 3D printer or, if that's not available, you can send it to someone like Shapeways and they'll do it for you.

    1. Buy some clay
    2. Throw the 3d printer out the window
    3. Make it yourself
    4. ????
    5. Feck off

Isn't reality craft better than using a game to create something and then using a program to be a lazy ****e and recreate it? What's so amazing about that? When you could just make it yourself and not be so god damn lazy and uncreative?

My realitycraft comment was somewhat in jest,

but whats wrong with someone printing off some of their minecraft creations?
whats the difference between that and someone printing off a creation in ms paint or photoshop?
