Hi, has anyone one any suggestions. I have a one year old pc, before x mas it wouldnt boot. The CMOS clr light is working but it seems to cut out before it boots. I changed power supply with a similar one and it worked so I bought a new power supply that worked for 2 days then the same thing happened. I tried the new power supply in a different computer and that works ok. I tried un plugging drives, sound card, graphics card, and ram but still the same thing. When you switch it on the fans and lights start for a second then stop, then a few seconds later it automatically tries to start again but stops, any suggestions? New Motherboard???
    Thanks.

It does definately sound like failing motherboard, try the new PSU in another machine and see does it work, if it still does I'd point the blame towards the motherboard. I know you probably have done this but make sure all power connectors are firmly in place (CPU 4 pin power and ATX power), a loose power connector to the main board would cause the machine to not boot,
