Probably early last year, i read that Dublinbikes were going to expand the number of cycle terminals in the city and also the number of bikes.
Does anybody have any update on this plan going ahead ?

    Thanks

the local newspaper for the Docklands (Portfolio?) had an article last month saying the next phase would be starting construction Q1 this year, poart funded by local businesses - the next phase being the Docklands and around Heuston. Haven't seen that confirmed anywhere else though.

That's only a planning document, but starting construction on the docklands would seem to match the rollout plan in that document.

Glad to see some progress on this. Hopefully it'll increase the demand for better cycling infrastructure.

Some bikes around Phibsborough & Cabra area would be great.

    No-one else posted this?
PLANS FOR a threefold expansion of the Dublin bike scheme, the first since the rental bikes were introduced to the city three years ago, will be finalised within weeks.

The "finalised within weeks" etc has been the position for months now. Untill the deal is finalised, nothing much has changed since last year.

Is there any talk of improving cycle infrastructure along the quays to run concurrently with this expansion?
The Quays are probably the most intimidating stretch of road in the city for inexperienced cyclists and with a large Dublin Bikes station at Heuston there'll be hundreds (thousands?) more people cycling along that route everyday.
A segregated cycle path would probably very popular with DB users along there.
