Hi guys, kind of stuck for ideas for our parents 25th wedding anniversary. We're on a budget of 700-750 for both. Looking at leaving end feb/start of march. Have been looking at package deals/ flights hotel separates but just don't where would be nice for that price. Any ideas would be great. They'd prob like somewhere warm with a bit of life, nothing brash or loud though.
    Thanks.

You could get flights to Lanzarote for €500 if they can fly midweek. €250 should get you a reasonable aparthotel in Costa Teguise for a week, room only.

A taxi from the airport is only €20 each way, so no need to worry about transfers and Costa Teguise has plenty of night life, without being too brash and loud.

Not strictly warm at the end of February, but if you hold off a few weeks you could get spring in Berlin. We were there at the start of April last year and it was t-shirt weather. We stayed in the Ritz Carlton on a great value weekend package in their club room - as much tea, coffee, beer, champagne, etc . . . as you can drink and ditto for snacks - breakfast, lunch & a light dinner. We flew out with Aer Lingus & back with Ryanair on pretty chaep flights.

Actually, scratch that. I've just checked their site and they don't have the club rooms advertised any more. That's weird. I wouldn't go for their ordinary rooms (at the price).

had similar problem for my parents last year.

i booked through uk travel company and got a great deal.
5* hotel all inclusive for stg250 pp, 7 nights.
flew from gatewick to side in turkey.

It was a bit tricky to organise but worth it in the end.

Website wouldn't accept irish debit cards or credit cards so phoned a brach in newry, they accepted no probs.
they posted tickets down, took a lot of convincing.
    - although they really really didn't want to do this incase got lost, but could have collected either.

Got an ultra cheapie flight to gatewick
    - always find the early morning red eye on time so no probs there.
    - parents got bags checked in to turkey flight in plenty of time, no hassles.

coming back was a bit tricker.
because gatewick to dublin flights were so cheap, i booked two, luckily.

one for about 3 hours after the turkey flight landed.
another one for early next morn, just to cover all bases!!
    - good thing too cause flight from turkey to gatewick arrived on time but took 2.5 hours for bags to come out. needless to say missed flight.

didn't want to name the companies involved incase not allowed on this forum but if you want to consider that route pm me and i can give you details.

(spent a huge amount of time researching hotels etc)

    best of luck!
