Syncing IPhone with another computer

I have my IPhone sync'd with my desktop but as I now have a Laptop too I only want to use the laptop. If I sync the phone with the laptop, will I loose everything (music, contacts, photos etc) from my desktop.Any advise would be gratefully appreciated

Yeah, you can have your iphone authorised on 5 computers, but you can only sync with one at a time, if you sync with a new computer you will lose everything on the iphone

Thanks. How would i go about only syncing with the laptop? Would I have to save everything from the desktop first and delete the itunes?

Best thing to do is transfer everything from the desktop to the laptop and then sync it again, but before you do that make sure you back up the iphone on the DESKTOP and dont delete anything from it until you're sure that everything is back on your phone after syncing it with the laptop.
