I have gimp 2 installed on my laptop I have been sent some EPS files to open and edit for a friend. Gimp won't open them, It is saying I need some ghost script when I download it I still cant get it to work. Anyone else got this problem and how have they solved it. Can anyone talk me through the steps, I have found some stuff on the net but can figure out the procedure. Thanks in advance, the Gall.

Figured it out, If anyone else gets stuck let me know and I'll point you in the right direction. Now I can open EPS files for editing in GIMP2:D:D:D:D

You can't edit eps in the GIMP. You can open them, and they'll be rasterised removing all the vector data. You need to use a vector editor like Illustrator or Inkscape.
