I've gotten pretty tired of all those half-attempts at bands we used to do when I was younger and want to try something with a little more commitment.

Influences: Beatles, Pixies, Velvet Underground, Nirvana, Butthole Surfers, Black Flag, Jazz, The Blues, etc.

Reply if you're seriously interested in starting something.

    Thanks :)

What kind of band are you hoping to start? Main street pub band or what? Letterkenny doesn't really cater much for original / heavy music.

Gigged in LK alot myself, I play keys.

I understand that Letterkenny has mainly either clubs for young people or small pubs where traditional music is played, though I've only been here about 6 months.

I'd hope to play rock 'n' roll, and play it in any place that'd let me.

It's unfortunate to hear that this town doesn't really cater to original music, though Im willing to travel.

The small enough pubs like Mc Ginleys take bands regularly, The Orchard is more of a higher end place to gig they only take in reputable bands. Sister Sara's is kinda on it's way out, other places you have left are Voodoo lounge which would be on par with The Orchard and The Central. I've played in all apart from the Central.
