    What a sight!!! Geese used to migrate to Kerry about thirty years ago not too far from me!! Nice one blackstairsboy!

    thats the truth what a sight,i didnt know we got flights of geese like that in ireland.we only see the odd few near where i am

    There is something special about seeing geese flighting all right. The Slobs hold the largest over wintering population of Greenland Whitefronts and also large numbers of Brent Geese. There is small populations of Canada's and a odd Pink Foot and Greylag but in small numbers.

    I was up in Donegal this time last year and i came upon hundreds of white coloured geese what type would they be.??

    I am not to sure at all what species they might of been, off hand possibly Canada's but I couldn't say without seeing them. Maybe someone from up that way might know what sort of populations are about up there.

    I had photos of geese taken opposite the golf course in ballybunion at the mouth of the cashen river

    think I posted them here some where...

    I'll see if I can find them again
