getting treaded for a moderator

    lads any idea,s on how much to get a 223 treaded for a mod and who to bring it to thanks

    It will cost you €60-€80.
    If we knew whwere you are based then we could advise who would be best to do it.

    Pat O Brien in bray did mine for 50 euros. I got one done off Neil Mc Veigh also but it was 90 euros. Both were excellent jobs.

    id say bring it to fergal white too he threaded and recrownd a rifle for me and have no problems with it you can send it up by courier if you didn't want to drive to athlone

    I brought my .22lr to John Lambert, Camolin, Co.Wexford to be threaded I don't know who did the work but it was tasty, nice chamfer on the shoulder, no pitting on the threads and an 11 degree crown, shot well after the job was done on it:)

    I've only ever bought rifles that were already threaded, so I'm curious: do they usually re-crown them when they thread them, or does this cost extra?

    i think dominic byrne from kiltealy in wexford is doing johns work now,must say top class work,sound bloke to deal with.
