Samsung Galaxy Nexus - Document viewer stopped

When i try to open an attatchment in my email it says unfortunately document viewer has stopped? It opens word docs but wont open a spreadsheet/excel doc. I need to be able to open spreadsheets/excel on a regular basis. Has anyone any ideas what the problem might be? The app is still enabled when I go into the Apps list in…
