Trying to cut back on the amount of time I'm online and I was thinking a time lock would do wonders for me.

Is there anything like that around where it will lock the desktop for a period of time say 2 hours and cannot be gotten around until the time is up ?

    I'm using Ubuntu 11.1 btw.

There is a chrome plugin that you can get that limits your daily internet usage. You can probably use the "enforce typing break" feature in ubuntu too (system->preferences->keyboard->typing break).
