Grundfos Circulation Pump

We have a Grundfos pump (can't find the exact model number since it's in the back of a cupboard) in the house that switches off for a second or two and switches back on while the shower in running.

It seems to me that it's a pressure sensor issue, since the pump is switching on and off and is working normally otherwise. But we had a plumber in last week who told me the whole pump was gone and it was €900 to replace.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

Circulating pump is for heating, or you have a pump that comes on when you have a shower?

    Which is it?

Contact Grunfoss thru' your local plumbing suppliers for a service engineer, it's the cheapest option.
