The increase for a claimant for a child is €29.80 per week, Its less if your claiming for 2 days etc.

If you claim when you are put on a 3 days week, you will probably be claiming JSB so it would be easier to claim for your partner as a dependant too. Then when little baby arrives you just add him/her to your claim.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure about rent allowance, but make sure you apply anyway.

Get a letter from you employer as soon as you are put on a 3 days week and get you claim in motion.
