droped laptop

    hey lads!

    dropped my laptop there the other day and now the screen won't come on when i power the laptop up. anything ideas? iv build my pc before so would it be worth opening it up and checking inside?

    First things first, connect an external monitor to see if it comes up. If it does then you know it's knackered and you can replace it.

    what lead can i use for that mate? i have a pc screen here i can connect to it but it doesnt have a vga connection on the laptop
