    Hi all,

I finished my PGCE in primary over in the Uk last July but I dont have my honours Irish leaving cert and was wondering what I need to do to be able to teach in Ireland? Do I have to repeat the Irish exam to get higher than a C3 and is there a teacher council exam I have to take aswel?

I'd really appreciate any information as Im not having much luck otherwise!

    Thanks!
    Amy!

Set up an account on the forum at www.educationposts.ie . There's a whole section dedicated to the Scrúdú le haghaidh Cáilíochta sa Ghaeilge (SCG), which is what you're looking for.

I know very little about it, save that people tend to find it difficult.
