Mac Lethal - Irish Goodbye [stream]

    Mac Lethal released a new album yesterday called Irish Goodbye. Can be heard in full on bandcamp:

    I'm actually suprised that there has been not much mention of Mac Lethal in recent times on the forum. He has went to relative nobody to internet hero over the last month. He posted a video that has got over 16 million hits in the space of a month.

    But, this isnt his first rapreallyfast vidoe that he has put out there. There are a few others.

    These are texts he exchanges between his cousin and the web site has become huge.....getting reviews in the big rags in the USA. Some hilarious stuff, all supposed to be legit, and his cousin doesnt know anything about it. He's been posting it on facebook for a while now but finally put it all together in one place. Now everyone is trying to find out ho 'Bennett' is!

    In the last month, Mac Lethal has been getting record contracts pouring in based on the texts from Bennett and the pancakes video. I think that he is turning them down and continuing to release stuff on his Black Clover label.

    Have not looked at his music but have seen most of his battles.

    He has been around a long time, well over 10 years sure wasn't he in scribble in 2001?

    Must check out his music, was not too won over by the last battlers music I checked out.

    That was Immaculates the green tape (That said Sage, Sahtyre, Jin and Dumbfoundeads music far outdid their battling)

    Big fan of his earlier stuff - Moon Thinker was a cracker. Haven't heard much of his new stuff - I'll check it out.

    After listening to the stream, I went and bought the album (says something when I only bought one album last year!). It is absolute quality. Great start to 2012.
