Has anyone any sources for buying a cabinet directly from Japan?
I'm after an E2 and I'd prefer buy directly from Japan if possible, I've a few contacts in logistics so shipping shouldn't be a problem.

    I suggest contacting RKLOK on arcadeotaku and just import from him. I bought my New Astro City from him, and it was perfect. You could probably search on the same site for info, but I think this guys sell international also;

    Cheers man,
I don't think Steve had much luck with rklok and from reading on ArcadeOtaku alot of people seem to think he's overpriced too.
I've imported various large and small items from japan and china before without too much difficulty, it's just trying to find a supplier to buy from really.
Its looking like it will be march or april by the time I can afford it anyway and if something good pops up in the UK I may just have to jump on it;)

I'd be interested in one too, what kind of costs are we talking.

Im trying to keep an eye out for one too, no money for it,
but im sure cash will magically turn up when a candy cabs that suits comes along :)
Its like life and death once one comes along, gotta have it and gotta get it right now :)

Egret 2 sound the business but E3 be class too.
Mass Boards Import of these is sounding like a MUST at this stage :)

Anyone with me becoming a smuggler and we had off to Japan buy the Cabs
And take over a Boat and steer it back to Ireland and deliver Candy Cabs to Cork, Dublin, Waterford, Wexford, Kilibegs, Dingle and Galway harbor :) Cabs for everyone :)

I was over checking out a supplier of candies in Japan just before Xmas(just made it home in time, but thats another story).

I'll have a bit more info in the next few days when I get myself sorted.

Cheers Steve, I was going to ask how you got on with your cab inquiries. Like the lads above I've no money for one right now but if a decent condition E2 could be sourced in the near future then I'd have to magic the funds from somewhere. :D

Sounds promising, like I said above I've a few contacts in the freight/logistics trade so may be able to organize something

Might take you up on that at a later date when I sort things out a bit.

I will say one thing that might interest some people.
The supplier has some brand new never used and still wrapped candy cabs, but those ones aint cheap.
But they sure as hell are pretty :D

But then you have the issue of electronic devices that have never been used and stored away for years. Some since 2003(Egret 3) and some from the 90's(Blast City etc).
Thats a worry for another day though.

Well if theres cabs coming in, dont want to be jumping the gun here, and if it works out cheaper the more parties there are involved I'd be up for getting one
