    Hi there,

Looking at getting either the Motion or Blanche Jackets ....

Both are fairly pricey so would like to know if anyone has used this brand for ski-wear at all? Would you recommend them? I don't mind investing in a good quality ski jacket which can double up as a winter coat when the temp drops below freezing over here too :)

    Thanks!

Helly Hansen have been around as high quality sailing brand for a long time. I think their ski gear is relitivly new but I would trust that its good quality and lives up to its specs. My fiancee bought the Blance jacket in gray recently. Looks like she wont make it skiing this year due to work commitments but she has been wear the jacket as a winter jacket and loves it. She is a very slim size 8 and it was tought to get a jacket that wasnt massive on her. HH was one of the few brands we could get an XS in and its nicely fitted to her shape. Has all the features you would expect and a high breathability and waterproof rating (20k/20k)

I wore a helly hansen jacket the last couple of years and couldn't fault it. I would buy one again if the right one came along.

Both are really good and HH make some incredible stuff.

The Blanche Jacket is a much better bit of equipment more breathable and more waterproof.

Could not find any fault in your choice.

    Hey, thanks for the replies.

Unfortunately the Blanche (although my favourite) comes in at a hefty 325 euro! I really like it though, so might just have to stump up the cash (somehow!)

Is there anywhere I might get that a bit cheaper do you know?
    Thanks again
