Guitar tech supplies?

Well, I'm looking to pick up some bits and pieces for home modding and such. Soldering iron, solder, some copper or aluminium sticky tape for shielding, that kind of stuff. Can anyone recommend somewhere to get that kind of stuff? I know stewmac have pretty much everything but that'd be coming from the states... any irish shops or european online shops do em? or if anyone knew anywhere in cork that'd be great.

I'v ordered parts of these guys before, soldering iron and stuff just use ebay or else go to dublin and get the stuff from there

I usually check ebay for bits and pieces I'll need or sometimes I add them to a thomann order so there's no shipping charge.

when your buying pickups, its probally worth putting the extra in and buying a decent set, nothing worse than cheaping out and gettin pick ups that sound really thin and tinny
