Gertrude Verbanski returns with a mission for Chuck and a proposition for Casey. While Chuck and Sarah contemplate the next step for Carmichael Industries, Casey’s forbidden love walks back into his life with a questionable mission in South Beach. Meanwhile, Jeff’s enhanced intelligence leads he and Lester to suspect that something unusual may be happening at the Buy More.

The end looks interesting, I actually presumed it would happen in the future during the last episode.

Well, I can safely say I only watched Sarah getting out of the pool three times. :D

In all it wasn't an episode up to par with the last 5 or so... I still found it rather enjoyable. Casey was pretty amusing as the kept man and Chuck was totally clueless showing that he may be a good spy now but he is still a geek.
The side story was interesting, Jeff figuring out the spy operation was pretty good too.

Jeff and Lester... well, I think they speak for themselves; Lester was classic in drag.

    Fairly good, noticed some goofs:
    - There's a "Tron Poster" note on the pinboard - how would they know about it (it is/was in Chuck's room - it doesn't seem likely they'd be able to get in, or be invited in), and if they were actually searching for it lately, it'd probably have the stuff still stuck to it. Maybe the information was moved to Castle or just destroyed, but then the poster itself would be gone, and they wouldn't know about it in that case.
    - When Casey was on the phone, why was the screen still active? The proximity sensor on it/any smartphone would turn it off.

The ending shows a good foundation for the ending. I liked how Lester got shot in the face with a tranq :D. Since the entrance (and area it lead to) seemed like it was there already (with stuff moved, and only the false wall added lately), how didn't anyone notice a quite noticeable trap door on the floor. Otherwise, how would they add a trap door, vertical tunnel (which wouldn't be part of the entrance/exit they use, which is in a corner and is an elevator, not a manhole-slash-ladder) and hallowed-out concrete room so fast?

I'm looking into this too much.

    big time :D

another ok ep, im feel like im just waiting for it to end at this stage, its lost its spark a while back, i still enjoy it here and there just not as much as the first 3 seasons, im just glad that im actually gonna still be interested enough to watch the end,

should be interesting how they sort out the jeff and lester problem,

I am the same, lost a bit of interest but interested enough to keep watching. unlike HIMYM, that is really starting to grate on me and some weeks even forget about it!

The Jeff becoming 'smart' has added a good mix to it this season and is a welcome relief to the overly slapstick the jeff & lester dynamic had become previously.

Also the greater role of awesome and Ellie has brought some freshness to it also.

overall it is shaping up for a strong enough ending and will be going out with relative strength unlike some shows which have gone past their sell by date before ending.

I'd love if they threw in some surprises and went a bit dark towards the end (maybe killing someone off?) - don't think they have the balls to do that and it will be a happy happy ending. Carmichael Industries (plus Jeff and Lester, and Ellie and Awesome) doing missions. Maybe Sarah and Chuck getting their new house, Sarah getting pregnant, Morgan getting married etc.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a '5 years later' segment at the end....

I don't think it would fit the overall tone of the show to go dark at the end. I'm presuming they're going to fake that direction though and have everything wrapped up neatly by the finale.

No, it wouldn't suit but might have added something last season all the same. Now the show is on wind down and I really want to see them all go out on a high. TBH I really like all the characters at this stage and couldn't stand any of them being killed off.

In a way I wish there was a second half to the season so I could see Jeff & Lester settling into Carmichael industries. I think that'd be pretty good. it's a pity they got to that so late.
