I have this one.
When my dad bought his iPod, he brought this one with it.

This one is the newer version. This one is handy because it has a remote!!
They both charge iPods as they play which is great. and they are portable!:)
But personally, (and most importantly) I think the sound is better from the older one. I really prefer the older one. I use both of them, but maybe I'm just biased lol.
