    Hi all,
I tried to search this forum, and the main Motors forum for a thread like this without luck.

I will be heading away for about 8 weeks with work and the car will be left at home.

What's the best thing for me to do with it ?
    - disconnect the battery (just a new battery I put in a month ago) ?
    - take it off its wheels?

OK to leave it outside ? Should i try and get a car cover of some sort ?
We have a garage that i might be able to put it, but would mean that noone can use it.

    Thanks

2 months is a relatively short time and won't cause any major problems. Your biggest worry will be the battery, this will be dead after 2 months so disconnect it and then charge when you return. The tyres would be the next weakness, just have them fully inflated to the correct psi before you leave, they should be fine on your return. I'd wash and wax the car with maybe 2 layers of wax before you go, no need to bother with a cover.
