Decent budget Android phone

    What can I get for the the €100 - €120 mark on payg, what do you advise? I may order somthing from the UK as it seems I will get a better phone for similar money.

    Bought my son a galaxy y running 2.3 very nicely, only issue is the screen is fairly low quality resolution, but that's the tradeoff.

    The Orange san francisco is the only decent budget android phone. The rest are crap.

    If you're willing to go up North, Orange have some new phones out - the San Francisco II and the Monte Carlo. A.k.a. the ZTE Crescent and the ZTE Skate.

    I don't know about these phones as regards unlocking but check XDA-developers and the like. A big community built up around the original San Francisco and I'd be very surprised if it didn't happen with these two.

    The Monte Carlo can be unlocked, don't think the San Fran 2 can be (yet). Some decent roms for the Monte Carlo too.

    Forgot to update this, i got the xperia mini as per poster number two. Its not a bad little phone but the screen is gonna take time to get use to. Its fast though:)
