    Hello there!:)

I am going to buy my first TV ever!! Exciting times!!:):) It's for my bedroom and will be mounted on the wall. I am interested in the 37-40 inch TVs, and leaning towards the LEDs.

Generally, I am really only interested in Samsung, Sony and Panasonic. I have seen the Samsung 40 inch LED (D503) on offer in Currys for €479, but also like the look of the D500 for something like €600 I think. What's the difference? Is the dearer one better?

I generally watch TV for just normal programmes, like RTE, and documentaries! Then, the GAA during the Summer!!:D

    Thank you very, very much!

(Please don't leave without commenting, even if it's just a smiley!! :) < See, it's easy!!!)

I would recommend you buy a set with a freeview HD or saorview tuner as the picture is way better especially if you have a liking for GAA or sports.Sound quality can vary enormously so demo this as well b4 you buy.
