Anyone know where I could buy a basic (cheap) runout guage. Ive got a bit of a vibration in the car and I want to check the dics for warping.
There are a few used ones on ebay but seller wont send to ireland

North Kildare here, I can lend you one with magnetic stalk etc. Got them at that mcQuinlan place in Blanch.

Thanks for the offer but I'm in mayo. Jesus I was in that tool shop in blanchardstown a fortnight ago but didn't see anything like that. How much did it cost?

maybe you could rig something up, like a bracket bolted on instead of caliper and a fine threaded bolt nut arrangement. measure clearance with feeler gauge?

you could possibly buy new discs anyway instead of a expensive gauge depending on make model of course.

    Can't remember but wasn't cheap.

I get all that type of gear from sealeypower these days. Here's one for 17 queen heads.

thanks. I will buy the one for 17 sterling and improvise a clamp.
I have thought about various ways of checking but for £17, not worth the hassle.
Looks like a useful tool site that.

Just had another look there, you may as well stick with metric for the extra quid.
