You will have to forgive me.
    Complete ps3 newb here.
I've posted lately looking for ps3 bundle deals and some advice on gaming with a girlfriend. I did het some nice feedbck although feel free to contribute :-)
Anyway, my new question before I buy is about PSN. Can I buy full games on it? For instance, cAN I GET UNCHARTED 3, LATEST FINAL FANTASY, ASSASSINS CREED OR LITTLEBIGISLAND, on it?
    Again my thanks.

You can download full games, but in my opinion its a bad idea.

If anything happens to the PS3 all of your games would be gone too, you can't bring the games with you (to a friends) and you can't sell them on.

The full games on the PSN are always much more expensive than they are in shops. Most new releases are 70euro on the Playstation Store while they are around 40 in shops. Its much better to buy physical copies if you arent worried about losing them or something.

Unless you have a fast internet connection aswell downloading the games could take a fair bit of time. I have fairly slow internet and even downloading demos takes me hours. You would also require a high data cap if you want to pick them all up at the same time

Sorry, but this is wrong. The games are tied to the PSN account, not the PS3.
So long as you can remember your account details, the games will be in your download section to recover.

FFXIII and Little Big Planet are both fairly cheap on PSN, not as cheap as in a shop but still only about €20

Is there a limit on how many consoles a game can be downloaded on, if your console breaks or you sell it?

You are allowed 2 active PS3, if you replace one you can deactivate your old one here. https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/login.action?service-entity=psn

As for selling your PS3 - surely you would remove all your account details before handing it over by formatting the HD.
Last thing you want is some stranger with access to your CC details(if you used CC on it).

Thanks F1ingers! I thought you got 2 downloads and that was it. Epic.

By the way, love the Dark Souls pic. Just beat Demon's Souls and got Dark Souls a while back.

My take on this is that a game can be used on two PS3's. However, I don't think you are limited to two PS3.

    Game 1 : PS3 a and PS3 b
    Game 2 : PS3 a and PS3 c
    Game 3 : PS3 b and PS3 d

    I believe this is possible.
