    ...on New Years eve. Not location specific (obviously I don't live in Ireland). Need some brainstorm ideas

    don't treat it as a date, it should be relaxed when ever I hear the term date i lock up and feel like suddenly I'm in an interview :pac:

    Havent been on a 'date' in years but I suggest you avoid the movies and loud pubs and anything a bit risqué.

    Took my fiance out on a boat for one of our first dates, was a great success. You can rent by the hour from bullock harbor which is within walking distance from the dart line.

    No idea if they are open at this time of year and if they are you should probably wrap up very warm but if so... it makes for a memorable date, you don't have to shout over rubbish music and its about the same price as 2 rounds so you can't go wrong really
