What is process and rough cost of moving an external gas meter

    Need to move an existing externally mounted gas meter to accommodate a new extension.

    What is the process and what does it cost?

    The move is about 20 feet.

    Anything to do with Gas, the installer has to RGI certed....Having said that, the cost of copper to extend plus certing it could be around 200+euro...

    thanks, my post was unclear: the meter on the wall where it is will need to be moved so the yellow high pressure feed will need to be 're-done' as well so its copper plus...

    Only the gas supplier would be permitted to do this for you

    Yup you have to go directly to Bord Gais as far as i know. they will send a engineer out to price it for you
