    Hey all,

Quick question about Tús; just wondering does anyone know if I'd be right in saying that the only people who can avail of the scheme have to be non-profit/charities agencies (and an actual employer/company can't take people on through it)?

I know internships and Work Placements via FAS are with actual companies that turn a profit, but unsure about Tús.

    Cheers.

You are correct, no companies, and have to be non profit schemes for the community

Info on Tús can be found here:
    http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/employment/unemployment_and_redundancy/employment_support_schemes/tus.html
All the work carried out by participants in the Tús scheme must benefit the community, and are provided by community and voluntary organisations.
