Confused..

Hi guys, Im a long time reader and first time poster, just looking for a bit of advice.

Basically theres this guy, we had a bit of a "thing" at the start of the year, we weren't in a relationship, we did discuss it but he felt at the time he didn't want one. I went along with this because I really liked him. It was complicated though, we met because he's my friends brother in law and they were against us being together - I think because me and him are quite similar and they couldnt see it working out.

Anyway this "thing" lasted for about 2 months, we spent an awful lot of time together, seeing each other at least 2 or 3 times a week despite living an hour apart.

Then...nothing. I suppose it just kind of fizzled out. I think I was holding out hope for a relationship but never actually brought it up again for fear it would scare him off.

Anyway, that was last February and I thought I'd have long forgotten him by now!! But no. I'm fine when I dont see him but I have seen him quite a bit over the Christmas while in my friends house and all those feelings came rushing back..but from what I can gather he has a girlfriend now.

My friends reckon he still feels something for me aswell but Im not 100% sure.

I would love for something to happen between me and this guy but nothing can happen while he has a girlfriend. Basically I'm looking for peoples opinions, do I ask him can we talk, just to clear the air and see if he still has feelings for me or am I better off saying nothing and pretending that Im fine being around him (which happens quite a bit). Help!! - And sorry for the long post!!!
