#NUFC Krul; Simpson Williamson, Coloccini, R Taylor; Tiote; Obertan, Cabaye, Gutierrez; Vuckic; Ba.

Have to say that is a strong side. I really hope Liverpool go with a three man midfield.

Craig Bellamy and Jay Spearing both start in Liverpool's final match of 2011 against Newcastle tonight - listen live from 7.15pm GMT.

Kenny Dalglish makes two changes to the team that drew with Blackburn Rovers, meaning Andy Carroll leads the line versus his old club while Steven Gerrard is on the bench.

Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Enrique, Skrtel, Agger, Adam, Henderson, Spearing, Downing, Carroll, Bellamy. Subs: Doni, Maxi, Kuyt, Gerrard, Carragher, Shelvey, Kelly.

Just read the last time Liverpool played a league game on Friday evening was a certain match against Arsenal in 1989.

    4-3-3?
    Reina,
    Johnson-Skrtel-Agger-Enrique
    -Henderson-Spearing-Adam
    Downing---Carroll---Bellamy.

Subs: Doni, Maxi, Kuyt, Gerrard, Carragher, Shelvey, Kelly.

Maxi dropped like I suggested, will Liverpool win? I think so!

this one in my opinion has a draw written all over it or Liverpool sneaking it by one (hope im wrong), we havent scored at Anfield in 6 seasons which is a shocking statistic.

Good from our point of view is Saurez is suspended, Gerrard Is on the bench, Andy Carroll's abysmal form up front for Liverpool, the fact we are not playing Perch as a centre back anymore and the sheer strength of the team Pardew has fielded this evening, seems like he wants to go for it.

    CMON NEWCASTLE

Wonder why Ben Arfa has been benched, huge game for Vuckic.
