Artane Bike Centre

Hi,

Does anyone else have any experience with this shop?

I called the shop earlier, and the guy just kept saying 'hello', didnt say 'Artane Bike Centre' or anything like that. I ended up having to ask him if he was working in a bike shop (I was calling loads of shops so couldnt remember which one I was on!). I was pricing up the Garmin Edges, so I asked him of they had any and he replied, 'what is that?".

Now, it's one thing not selling a product, but surely someone working in a bike shop should know what a Garmin Edge is? Either that or I didnt even call a bike shop, I still don't know! Although, I checked the last dialled and it matched what was on their website!

Pure bricks and mortar shop if you could get anymore basic, dont do high end components, have some giant bikes but mainly deal in second hand bicycles. Wouldn't look for anything fancy at all from the shop tbh. Grand if you stuck and need a quick fix or anything.

I don't know the store in Artane but head down the road to Little Sport in Fairview or at least phone them for a quote

They won't have Garmins, they might have some second hand ones in 10 years time. It's kinda like walking into someone's living room, as it was a house once upon a time. They have old second hand bits and some new bits but not very high end. I got a 27 1/4" inch tyre in there not so long ago and they were very nice to deal with.
