    Hi guys,

    Got a new job and training starts 9th January and its 4 weeks.

    I have a weekend away booked since August with my mam. Its the week after I finish the training.

    When should I tell them about it and would it be cheeky? Its 1 night away so il need 2 days off...

    Be upfront and tell them straight away, Most employers will be understanding and should not be a hassle. Once it a long standing arrangemenyou cannot get out off there is little they can do about it.

    agreed, I think in my interview they asked whether I had any holidays planned (and it wouldn't have gone against your application)
