New Property Tax - Rented property ?

    Does anybody know if this new Property tax that is coming in soon will be for the owner or tennant of a rented property to pay the property tax?

    Its clear for Home Owners, but i can't find anything related to rented prperty.

    I'd imagine it'd be like the nppr charge, in that you don't actually own the property, so the landlord would be liable. This is just my thoughts though, not factual :)

    The landlord is liable & he will be paying the charge.

    However, depending on your contract he may be able to pass the charge on to you in the form of higher rent.

    This is another charge as usuall the great Irish Goverenment thinks will collect more money and tell everybody it will save us .... dont believe it more stress and worry for strugling people LLords will be making us pay you can bank on that:(

    This means things are only going to get worse its like trying to get water/blood out of a stone Rent is becoming more and more in need so rent will just keep rising yes some are renting because there is no other way but others are absolutely minted and don't give a toss about you or me
