I've an android tablet 2.3 tablet and when I go to some sites it directs me to the mobile version which I don't want. I know there's a go to main site link on some of them but others don't have this. Anyone help?
Also, I can play youtube videos but other clips on other sites won't load, just stays blank. Any ideas here?

Go into browser settings and change the user-agent string. Exactly how to do this depends on what browser you are using. Install dolphin browser off market if you have problems, it lets you do it easily.

For your second problem, install flash off market. Also, make sure you are using proper android market, not some 3rd party chinese market the tablet ships with.

Thanks for reply. Not sure how to access browser settings. It's a Zepad zt280 c91 I got shipped from china, great piece of kit apart from those 2 wee probs.
I took off flash that was on it and reinstalled it again but still no joy.
Edit-clips work now though very slow. I downloaded dolphin but can't find it after download??? Just disappears

Press menu button, then settings probably. God knows what browser that comes with. Flash performance will be brutal on those cheap tablets as well, probably not worth enabling it.

YouTube works fine on it but. Tried looking in settings for info on browser, can't find anything. Might just try root it and install better apps on it.
