M1911 firing on full auto?

    Hello all,
I have a KJW 1911 tactical (both Co2 and Green Gas compatable) being used with a green gas mag. When I pull the trigger, the gun keeps firing on fully automatic rather than the standard semi-auto mode. It does this even when dry firing with the slide lock held down.

When the slide lock is left as per normal and an empty mag is inserted, the slide locks back.

There are no visible signs of a selector switch or safety other than the palm depression safety. Can anybody tell me why this is happening or how to stop it?

    All answers appreciated

I don't know about you, but i dnt wanna spray 31 rounds at once out of my only backup weapon :P
I sanded down the hammer so the slide doesnt catch and lubed the moving parts

im pretty much clueless when it comes to the tech side of all things airsoft. i just got excited at the 1911 full auto mode possibility :D would be interesting though to hear what the people with skills have to say and how perhaps a full auto 1911 could come to life through this :D could you possibly make a video of your 1911 going postal with a loaded mag ? ( it might help people figure out the issue and it will give ...others wet dreams:D)

Wish I did, but the rubber part on top of the mag (that holds the BB in place) blew off, and I don't want to damage the O-ring, because it lets go of all the gas in cold weather

Oh i know why it does that and how to fix it there is a pin at the bottom ohanddle, remove that and the safety and triger.and hammer mecanism is ther, there is a pin that you have to push for the hammer to stay in place. Or it could be the gas release from mag.

You probably didn't put it back together properly, most likely the leaf spring.

with co2 the firing rte will be SICK ie very very good and you need to take into account that you will need to buy extended mags or if you u se the standard mag it will be a like 6-7 second burst :) i wanting one but that was with a different model
